Air Temperature: 2C

Weather: Overcast/Drizzly sleet

Distance Covered:

Woke upto a covering of snow in all the low lying areas and it was still sleeting. It looked horrible an cold outside.
Got a call of Egg and Richard so decided to venture up the hills and find a decent hill. Spent ages looking for a suitable hill and the roads up to oakenclough were impassable due to the drifting of the snow and strong winds.
Decided on Beacon fell in the end so spent the afternoon there gettin in as many runs as possible on the 10cm of snow that had fallen. Just enough snow to board down but all the runs were worn in with the crowds up there. Had a few good wipeouts as did Richard with his first time on a board.
Was just leaving an then Deano turned up with his snowboard as well as Peach with his sledge.
May try snowkiting tomorrow if we get the right wind strength.
